Another recent randomized clinical trial, randomizing women with one or two recent pregnancy losses between low dose aspirin and placebo, started preconception and continued until 36 weeks of gestation, showed a trend towards a lower spontaneous preterm birth rate with a RR of 0.45, 95% CI 0.19 to 1.08 [ 22 , 23 ].
