The mid-montane Synoeca cyanea (Fabricius, 1775) inhabits the southern and central portions of AF; it is found regularly in semi-deciduous and gallery forests, showing a strong trend for mid-elevation habitats in lower latitudes, reaching up to 1100 meters above sea level (a.s.l.) 28 , 29 (Fig. 1 ).
