Although the semipartial correlations between attitudes toward war and political orientation failed to reach statistical significance in three samples out of four, comparisons of the semipartial correlations revealed that political orientation was not more strongly associated with attitudes toward peace than with attitudes toward war (.49 ns ≤ all z s ≤ 1.30 ns ).
