When comparing women with preeclampsia who have the TT genotype to those with the GG genotype, which would be expected to demonstrate the maximum effect of the T allele, the adjusted odds ratio for invasive breast cancer was 0.38 (CI 0.13, 1.14), p = 0.14, and thus did not reach statistical significance (see Table 2 ).
