Stratifying the groups based on the increase in serum 25(OH)D level (<50 nmol/L/≥50 nmol/L) seen at each time-point showed a trend towards lower IFN-γ + CD4 + proliferating T cells in both CIS patients and HCPs with significance seen at week 16 in CIS ( p = 0.01) and week 16 ( p = 0.03) and week 24 ( p = 0.02) in HCP ( Figure 3 ).
