In the size‐based analyses for this species, there was a significant trend of greater clustering around conspecific adults by 1‐ to 5‐cm DBH stems as compared to 5‐ to 10‐cm DBH stems, and there was a comparable trend of slow‐growing saplings clustered around conspecific adults in the growth‐based analyses.
