Varying the voltage between 1.6 and 3.6 kV shows a clear trend emerge whereby the relative abundance of the doubly charged IP6 [M−2H] 2− ion decreases, while the relative abundances of m/z 288.94 and 248.96 increase, with m/z 288.94 becoming the dominant ion in the spectra.
