Observed differences were highly significant in size classes B [ t (89) = −7.2, P < 0.01] and C1 [ t (89) = −3.3, P < 0.01] (Table 2 ), whereas differences between the pollen from di- and tetraploids in class C2 were only marginally significant [ t (89) = −2.2, P = 0.04].
