The similar findings of decreased TXNIP SAT expression in both O-GDM and O-T1DM (although only near-significant for O-T1DM) lend added credibility to our results, but studies of TXNIP expression in SAT are scarce, and we cannot exclude that our findings could be part of an as yet unknown pathogenic mechanism.
