In the group that switched to lobeglitazone during the open-label phase, there was a slight increase in the femur neck BMD and a decrease in the total hip BMD; however, these changes similarly did not reach statistical significance, and there were no significant differences compared to the lobeglitazone-maintained group ( Figs. 1A, B and 2 ).
