notch1a labelling was weaker in gabra2 morphants of 24 hpf, although the pattern of expression remained unaltered; however, al 48 hpf there was a stronger signal in the cephalic region, which might correspond to the tendency observed in the qPCR results (the expression levels were up-regulated, although they did not reach statistical significance).
