As can be noted from the data presented in Tables 1 and 2 , all the dosimetric parameters show no significant differences between the MIT and the DIT, except the three parameters of the “maximum dose in the fields junctions”, “ V 105 % for the target tissue” and “the mean dose of the level 2 lymph nodes”, indicating quite significant lower values for the MIT.
