Analysis of data from the present study shows that when Campylobacter free flocks were processed in semi-automated facilities, there was a lower contamination (15%) than when the Campylobacter free flocks were processed in wet markets (25%), although this difference failed to reach statistical significance (Fisher’s exact test, p = 0.6059) due to the very limited number of samples.
