However, in the group of PKU patients, both arterial stiffness markers as AP and Aix@HR75 were found to be increased among PKU patients when compared to controls (5.09 ± 4.76 mm Hg vs 2.74 ± 4.11 mm Hg and 12.15 ± 13.28% vs 8.84 ± 12.52%, respectively); although these differences did not reach statistical significance.
