Depending on the scenario examined (HUM, MST, ENV), we see a wide range of estimated attributable fractions, but a clear trend that a far greater fraction of diarrhea can be attributed to Cryptosporidium and Giardia contamination in drinking water during the monsoon season in 2012, when child diarrhea prevalence rates were higher (~12% 7-day recall period) compared to 2013 (~9% 7-day recall period).
