Conclusion We conclude that oxytocin and carbetocin have a similar effect on nausea and vomiting; if there is any difference it would be that carbetocin probably results in less nausea and vomiting, which may be clinically relevant although the difference did not reach statistical significance due to the lack of sufficient power in this study.
