Evaluation of the effect of CaCl 2 on digestion efficiency showed a trend toward higher levels of missed cleavage (Fig. 6 a) and trypsin autolysis (Fig. 6 c) in the absence of calcium, but lower levels of non-specific cleavage under these conditions (Fig. 6 b).
