None of our genome-wide significant SNPs were in regions that approached significance in a previous much smaller GWAS of SRH. 19 Sensitivity analyses showed that the polygenic profile score analyses for systolic blood pressure, coronary artery disease and type 2 diabetes were not confounded by individuals with the associated disease (hypertension, cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus).
