Univariate Analyses As shown in Table 2 , all MCMI-III personality disorder scales apart from narcissistic were significantly associated ( p < .001) with the presence of Axis I clinical syndromes, with a clear trend for clinically relevant levels of multiple personality disorders in subjects with more than one syndrome (with the exception of histrionic and obsessive-compulsive personality patterns, which showed an opposite trend).
