38 Influenced in part by an infant’s regulatory capacity, it is not surprising that compared with their term-born peers, both PT <30 and MLPT infants had higher rates of suboptimal arousal and excitability on the NNNS, however, the relationship between these subscale scores and their dependence on gestational age did not reach statistical significance (p<0.05).
