Analysis of the 159 anthropometric, lifestyle and clinical covariates showed that 421 proteins had at least one nominally significant association with at least one covariate, and 303 proteins (71.3%) after correction for multiple hypothesis testing (p < 0.05/159/425 = 7.4 × 10 −7 , Table S2 ).
