In the analysis of genotypes A and B, there were no significant differences in other baseline characteristics including age, total cholesterol levels, low-density lipoprotein and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels, triglyceride levels, and BMI, except for the fasting plasma glucose level which was higher with borderline significance in genotype B.
