Atrial fibrillation was also associated with increased risk of fracture from 1 to 3 years after discharge only [HR 1.62, 95% CI (1.09–2.40), P = 0.017] and previous stroke/TIA were associated with increased risk over the whole follow-up [HR 1.27, 95% CI (1.01–1.60), P = 0.041] (also just failing to reach statistical significance at 0–1 years after discharge).

The sentences
