We found that 12 of these genes were significantly upregulated (fold-change >15%, FDR < 0.05) following chronic DBS in the Het samples ( Figure 6C ; genes with a significant increase in expression are indicated by asterisks) and that many of the other genes showed a trend toward increased expression following chronic DBS.
