almost attained significanceP = 0.06
Dispensing of phenoxymethylpenicillin, amoxicillin/ampicillin, co-amoxiclav, oral cephalosporins, macrolides and trimethoprim was lower in the intervention practices accepting a workshop compared with those who declined, while dispensing of oral nitrofurantoin and pivmecillinam was higher. Intention-to-treat analyses In the ITT analyses (Table 2 ) there was non-significantly lower total antibiotic dispensing in the intervention practices allocated to receive the workshop compared with controls, which almost attained significance [−2.7%, dispensing rate ratio (DRR) 0.973, 95% CI 0.945–1.001, P = 0.06].
