As shown in Table 4 , there was a higher number of patients with an urinary tract infection in the beta-blocker group compared to the non-beta-blocker group (18 (40%) vs 6 (18.8%), p = 0.079) resulting in an increased risk for urinary tract infections in the beta-blocker group (adjusted OR 3.12, 95% CI 0.88–11.05, p = 0.077), which did not reach statistical significance.
