In CMM, there was also significantly greater pS6+/S6+ cell density in the Trained-Novel group compared to the Trained-Familiar group (CMM: P = 2.26E −5 ; NCM: P = 0.42); NCM showed a trend for Trained-Familiar mTOR activation levels to be intermediate between those of both the Trained-Silence and Trained-Novel conditions (mean ± SEM: Trained-Silence: 0.061 ± 0.01; Trained-Familiar: 0.18 ± 0.024; Trained-Novel: 0.24 ± 0.035).
