In dose-response analyses, a significant trend for increasing number of cigarettes was observed (p trend <0.01), with reduced FEV 1 /FVC ratio (−1.8%, 95% CI −3.0 to −0.7) in participants exposed to ≥10 cigarettes per day during pregnancy.
