Although there was a consistent pattern of an increased rate of stroke and bleeding outcomes in patients with diagnosed anxiety compared with those without anxiety or depression, our results did not reach statistical significance for the individual secondary outcomes (ischemic stroke, ICH, and hospitalization for extracranial hemorrhage), possibly because of insufficient power.
