The subgroup analyses of Asians from the ROCKET‐AF trial (Rivaroxaban Once Daily Oral Direct Factor Xa Inhibition Compared With Vitamin K Antagonism for Prevention of Stroke and Embolism Trial in Atrial Fibrillation) showed a trend toward lower rates of all major bleeding (HR, 0.63, 95% CI, 0.37–1.09) and a similar risk of thromboembolic events (HR, 0.76, 95% CI, 0.42–1.37) for rivaroxaban versus warfarin. 30 Our data support these trial data with a significantly lower risk of major bleeding (HR, 0.58, 95% CI, 0.46–0.72) and IS/SE (HR, 0.81, 95% CI, 0.67–0.97) for rivaroxaban versus warfarin (Table 5 ).
