Discussion Clinically-indicated renal biopsies from the randomized ZEUS study up to year 5 post-transplant showed a trend to more frequent mild acute cellular rejection, and approximately half the incidence of CNI-toxicity lesions, under an everolimus-based regimen with early CNI elimination versus standard CsA therapy.
