Although the majority of OTU and genus groupings did not reach statistical significance once adjusted for multiple testing ( Q > 0.1), some of the most significantly differentiated genera, such as Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma spp., were reported previously to be opportunistic intrauterine pathogens highly correlated with the incidence of sPTB ( 18 , 36 – 41 ), supporting the output from our study.
