Maximal safe resection followed by radical RT and temozolomide might be the optimal treatment of choice since glioblastoma-diagnosed patients over 60 years of age showed a statistically significant survival benefit which was concurred by data published by Beramendi et al .[ 18 ] Although complete surgical resection also showed a trend toward better survival, this required more sample size.
