Our results show that patients who have the minor allele of the ERBB3 SNP rs2229046 have significantly elevated expression of Src kinase, and a nearly significant increase in EGFR Y1068 phosphorylation, whilst patients with the ERBB3 SNP (rs77123) have a significantly higher level of GSK-3β (s9) phosphorylation relative to those with the reference allele.
