The small number of cases examined do not establish an evident correlation with Gleason grade or tumour extension (evaluated as n° and percentage of tumour involvement on at least 12 diagnostic biopsies), although showed a trend for increased percentage of CD44v8-10 positive tumours with higher Gleason grade group (Table 1 ).
