Although most of the measures of safety in our study did not reach statistical significance our data consistently suggest an unfavorable pattern of clarithromycin combined with VCD on the number and degree of adverse events, on feasibility of the regimen and on the two patient-reported outcomes quality of life and neurotoxicity.
