Annual carbon sequestration of forest biomass From 1999 to 2050, the annual carbon sequestrations of forest biomasses of China and the six GGP‐covered regions all showed a trend that the annual carbon sequestrations increased at the beginning, peaked around 2010 and decreased afterward, but the peaking times differed among the regions (Figure 3 ).
