Progression-free survival (PFS) analysis was performed in a subgroup of 126 patients (79.7%) and revealed a tendency towards significance (χ2 = 3.4, p = 0.063), for a prolonged median PFS in the CTx + VA group (6.7 months; 95%CI: 4.0–9.0) compared to the CTx group (4.4 months; 95%CI: 2.7–5.9) 6.4% see Fig 4 .
