Puerto Rican men had the most minutes per day of moderate to vigorous physical activity, as assessed by an accelerometer, compared to other Latino groups. ( Arredondo et al., 2016 ). While results are mixed as to which Hispanic/Latino groups have the highest levels of physical inactivity—perhaps due to differences in the measurement of physical activity—there is a clear trend of physical inactivity among Latino men.
