For the upper limb on the operated side we found highly significant differences between measurements taken at subsequent time points with respect to the range of extension, internal rotation, external rotation and abduction ( p ≤ 0.01), upper limb circumferences: 10 cm above the lateral epicondyle ( p = 0.0000), 10 cm below the lateral epicondyle ( p = 0.0000), and in the mid-metacarpal region (without the thumb) ( p ≤ 0.014).
