Adjustment for sample tumor purity determined by FACETS ( Shen and Seshan, 2016 ) found that CNA burden was still significantly associated with overall survival in primary tumors in the pan-cancer analysis and approached significance for metastatic tumors (p=0.06; Supplementary file 3 ), though purity-adjusted CNA burden was no longer significantly associated with overall survival in the prostate tumor subsets ( Supplementary file 3 ).
