Several recent studies showed a trend toward improved outcome in terms of improved local control and reduced rates of distant brain failure in patients who received stereotactic radiosurgery in context with anti-PD-1 therapy [ 32 , 33 , 34 ], and, according to recent literature, the application seems to be safe [ 35 ].
