Discussion In patients with hypertriglyceridemia and insulin resistance, pemafibrate treatment (0.2 mg b.i.d.) for 12 weeks resulted in a significant increase in the SGU rate from baseline ( P < 0.01), although the difference between the pemafibrate and placebo groups did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.084).
