In this study, patient-based analyses comparing coronary CTA versus ICA for the detection of significant CAV (> 50%) showed a mean weighted sensitivity of 94%, specificity of 92%, negative predictive value (NPV) of 99%, positive predictive value of 67%, and diagnostic accuracy of 94%, with a strong trend toward improved sensitivity and negative predictive value with 64-slice compared with 16-slice coronary CTA [ 25 ••].
