The sentences

Persistent wheezing followed the same pattern as wheezing, with higher OR for those who were obese or in the third tertile of adiposity at both ages (18 and 22 years), although probably due to the sample size the results did not reach statistical significance ( Table S1 ) Discussion This paper describes a positive association between cumulative obesity/adiposity at 18 and 22 years and the phenotype wheezing at 22 years, even after adjustment for confounders; this association seems to be more due to wheezing than to atopy, because the results for the atopic phenotype (alone) were not so consistent.
