Compared with CCR, treatment with azacitidine was associated with significantly longer median OS for patients with complex karyotypes or -7/7q- abnormalities, and showed a trend for improved survival in patients with monosomal karyotypes or abnormalities in chromosomes 5 and 17 (Fig. 3 ).
