Although it cannot be confirmed with the currently available data, the separation of non-avian dinosaurs and crown-group birds in PC morphospaces indicate a clear trend towards relative expansion of the cerebrum along the dinosaur-bird transition (Figs. 3 and 4 ), which may be related to increased stimulus processing ability [ 47 ].
