When LULC trends are compared between political divisions during 2002–2010, we found that woody vegetation increased in the Colombian and Ecuadorian CGE during 2002–2010 (R = 0.78, p< 0.01; R = 0.64, p< 0.05) but did not show a significant trend in the Panamanian CGE.
