Similar to SQAT, under NC dietary conditions, the lean WT appeared to be more susceptible to CL-induced beiging compared to fatter ERαKO based on the intensity of UCP1+ staining ( Figure 6A,B ), although this difference did not reach statistical significance, possibly due to small sample size ( n = 4–5/group).
