Although differences in length of hospital stay did not reach statistical significance in the assessment of the impact of disease location ( p = 0.06) (Table 2 ), the mean length of hospital stay was significantly longer in patients with lesions on the lower limbs than in all other patients taken together (7.5 ± 3.0 vs. 5.1 ± 1.3 days; p < 0.01).
